*Hung curd is thick curd without any water content or whey present in it. Hung curd is prepared by the following steps. Firstly place a big strainer on top of a wide bowl. Next take required quantity of fresh curd/ yogurt and place in a cotton/muslin cloth and make a secured knot.Place the cotton cloth with curd inside the strainer. Finally place a heavy weighed object on top of the cotton cloth, which makes sure to squeeze out the excess water present in the curd to drip via the strainer and get collected in the bowl. Make sure to refrigerate this overnight which finally gives creamy and perfect hung curd. To avoid all this big process, you can replace with store-bought greek yogurt.
