This is an awesome year for music some of my jams of 1975 are Jefferson starship miracles, Jethro Tull minstrel in the gallery, Styx suite Madame blue, David Bowie young Americans, Kansas song for america and Peter Hammill open your eyes these are a few of my favorites but there are so many great tunes this year

@@drocker4729 I’m glad you like Astral Drive. I think you and I have similar tastes so we can keep the suggestion train going! I haven’t heard of High South but will certainly check them out. They tick all the right boxes for me! I love America, and prefer earlier Eagles. It’s strange because I love Joe Walsh, but once he joined the Eagles their material overall didn’t appeal to me as much. Some gems for sure, but overall not as compelling. CSN I like too. Speaking of the Eagles, have you heard of a group called Silver? They released one album and had a hit single called “Wham Bam Shang-A-Lang”. That song is catchy as hell but not as indicative of the whole album, and doesn’t sound as much like the Eagles as the rest of their album. But it’s a really good one! Give it a listen on KZbin.

@@drocker4729 That IS a good deal! Especially the remastered version. If you like the soulful pop sound of Todd I think you’ll like Lewis Taylor’s “Lost Album”. Need to check out your latest recommendations. Cheers!

@@drocker4729 Ha! That 4 Non Blondes tune was my WALL PUNCHER to beat all WALL PUNCHERS on the first program! WALL PUNCHERS #2 coming up soon! Lots of interesting cd/vinyl selections @ GW, for sure. Never heard of Painter but will check out “Space Truck”. Let’s see .. off the top of my head I’ll suggest the song “White Lies, Blue Eyes” from a group called Bullet. Great pop tune from about the same point in time.

I can’t believe I chose Starless. I knew it was 1974. The only album released by King Crimson in 1975 was the live USA. Being 71 has it’s drawbacks my friends.
