I think these are all sensible parties, but the biggest threat to such a coalision is the ego of the DA, who always want to make everything about themselves. My 2cent opinion is that the ANC when it was leading failed to include other parties. I believe they should have given them more responsibility either in the form of appointing them as minister of a certain department. For now it's all about damage control of which the ANC has somehow single handedly squandered through their cadre to cadre deployment. No, I dont think it is that. The problem is that the ANC have been stealing from the country and made everybody poorer for the sake of shamelessly enriching themselves. Even now, the flow of public money into the bottomless pockets of the politically connected with nothing to show for it is still flowing strongly. The ANC is beyond redemption, because everyone in it has something to loose. Anyone who tries to reform it will be voted out by criminals who only care for themselves. This is why the ANC (And the EFF who doubles down on every bad policy of the ANC) must be voted out of power, because they are responsible for South Africa becoming just another banana republic.

Great questions Shahaan, perhaps it’s a lack of experience of these newer parties , to ensure that change comes that will not be achieved just by shouting from the opposition benches, they must consider the ANC and DA as partners so that they can more effectively alter and influence key decisions especially in the larger metros.
