Been loving these top trades of 2014 videos. I'm a fan of Brandon Graham and James Stokoe, glad to see they've made your list. Other things like Lazaurs, Manhatten Projects, and Planet of the Apes I need to check out and catch up on.

Count Mecha Count Mecha thanks, this group of artists around Brandon Graham (James Stokoe, Simon Roy &...) makes comics that stand out in any case

earl grey and on a second guess: you do have Punkrock Jesus, don't you, because if not that should be the first choice for a b/w-afficionado like you
@etanick110 жыл бұрын
earl grey Punkrock Jesus does look interesting as well but the Wake just screams "buy me"...LOL

I am so glad to hear you mention Prophet and Lazarus, Fear Agent and Saga, such a great series. Have you encountered Federal Bureau of Physics, Black Science, Letter 44 or Think Tank?
@earlgrey8628 жыл бұрын
FBP was one of the books that I didn't pick up because of ... don't know... reasons, that I can't pinpoint right now. Black Science: I've waited for the oversized HC, but it's glued binding and that's terrible for this art with all the double side panels, so I hope someday there will be a decent collected edition. Letter 44 - same as FBP, but I guess the art didn't turn me on too much. Think tank? think tank? can't remember a title of that title :/

+earl grey well hopefully you can get a hold of all those series in hardcover. I do believe you would like them greatly.

Manhattan Projects, Lazarus, and Saga were the ones that I buy. I would never have guessed "Fear Agent" because I bought the individual issues as they came out and the series finished back in 2011. So to me it didn't come out this year. I loved the way "Fear Agent" re-invented itself every six issues of so.

Jared Osborn So we have this time a 4 out of 10, not bad Mr., not bad (again) :) as to Fear Agent: My lists encompass all kinds of trades that came out 2014 either for the first time or in a complete modified new edition. So same as Sin City on the crime book list Fear Agent made it on this list.

Loved this Panellogy. The top three are great picks. Lazarus is something I enjoy dearly. A game of thrones in the future:)

Very good choice for first place. Although I feel that there might be a few that you have missed. FBP: Federal Bureau of Physics, Letter 44 and Black Science(also by Rick Remender). If you have not, you should definatively check out Black Science first.

Aztecface I am glad that you've mentioned those books, they're all pretty good of what I 've heard, but unfortunately I've never read them. As to "Black Science": I am desperately hoping that they will publish an oversized hardcover, so I'm quite certain that it will end up on my top ten... from 2015.

Yes... when the time comes I do hope to do so myself. Until then, don't forget that reading the trades and single issues is also possible digitally.
@earlgrey8629 жыл бұрын
ah, digital reading isn't really my thing, but it's free (ähm, you know what I mean :) ) so that's a good thing.

I use a service called Comixology, so for me, it's not free.

STORM!! Have you bought the missing issues to your collection? What about Trigan Empire?
@earlgrey86210 жыл бұрын
WaveOne11 yes, after a looong loooong time & then I did it all the way, the splitter-versions are printed so much better than the old ones, the Colors really pop. Hopefully they put out a reprint of the old Trigan-stuff as well... but until then I don't hunt the old Triganissues.
@WaveOne1110 жыл бұрын
earl grey okey nice! Waiting for a new paneollogy on that one! What about the collectors edition on trigan empire? I believe those should have superior colouring...
