Pangkor Island Malaysia

Pangkor is a lovely small island just off the western coast in Malaysia, it took as around 4-5hrs on a bus from Penang and a fairly short ferry trip from Lumut, we bought a ticket for the bus as well as for the ferry on the day we travelled so there seems to be no need for booking in advance.
Arriving in Pangkor there are a ton of pink people carrier buses just waiting for tourists, we took one and arrived at our Hotel within 10min it was all super easy. We stayed at Coral bay resort which was an interesting place the decor was somewhat stuck in the 90’s which made for an amusing stay but the staff was overall very friendly.
We stayed for a total of 5 days on the island but have seen everything within 3 days. Renting a bike is highly recommended we zoomed around from beach to beach and saw lovely jungle, temples, restaurants and beaches. We visited early February and hardly saw any tourists at all, the few we saw all stayed around the Coral beach area.
Phil really enjoyed the fresh fish and crab most evenings, for vegetarians the variety was not great but everything I ate was fresh and tasty.
