Panhandle Paving Project Pt.1 & Montour Trail Then & Now

The Panhandle Trail in Washington County has gotten a face lift.
It has been resurface with asphalt from McDonald Pa to Burgettstown Pa.. Allegheny County Section is crushed lime stone.
Montour Trail has gone through some major improvements over the years as shown in this video and is still my favorite trail.
This video contains clips from the past and edited to show how things were a few years ago compared to todays construction.

Thanks so much for uploading these videos. I do hope to ride as many of these trails as possible. We ARE so blessed to have so many great rail trails at our using here in PA. I hope for many more to come and inter-connects between them for long rides and possibly bike N' hike situations.

These are 2 great trails, thanks for sharing. If you get the chance there is a new campsite open on the montour trail in the South Park/Jefferson Hills area of the trail. I built the adirondack shelter for my eagle project so if you get a chance go over and stay the night.
