It still breaks my heart to this day. I honestly would rather have their band together and not be mainstream or peak so long as they can still create and perform more beautiful music together. They are just all so talented together. When Brendon gone solo and without Ryan's genius lyrical and compositional talent, the magic of the music of their band that I loved has gone.

Finally! So many people complain about Pretty. Odd. I mean, if you gave it a chance and didn't like it, that's fine, but I don't understand how people can insult the actual music. Panic are a band I've always admired for not only how well they write, but how well they can arrange the stuff they do write. It might not be the kind of music a lot of PATD fans enjoy, but it's undeniably beautiful and well-thought out.

Panic! used to be my favorite band (I still love them), but now that I'm older The Band is my favorite band. I just remembered this cover existed and now I'm having a ~moment~. Feels like I've come full circle. :) They did the Band justice and I realize now that Pretty. Odd. era Ryan Ross really wanted to be Robbie Robertson.
