Juju for sure gets my most impressed award. thought he might shine, but definitely wasn't putting money on it. I'm not at all surprised by Eli. I don't think this means he's done, but he was always my wild card in 2024 SX. I just had no idea where to place him. I do think he'll get better, hopefully a lot better. it cannot be easy coming back even if he is 100% healthy after being out of competition for about a year. I'm not sold on Anderson or Webb, but I give them props for grit and not caving. I did note that Jett got a little surprised once in the 2nd turn in the heat race by Webb, but he turned around and did the exact same thing to Anderson in the main. Also, Jett seemed to have Webb weighed and measured before he cross-rutted. Still, props to Webb for digging his heals in even if the night didn't go quite so well as it should have for him (he was easily 2nd "fastest" for the main). That brings me my amateur observation/question about the track: was it hard to pass or what? Webb was clearly faster than Anderson, but it looked like he could only pass in a couple places. Normally, Webb is weak in the whoops, but JS7 seemed to say that Webb was actually fast in the whoops on this one. There were a lot of 180s, but just the one in the 2nd turn seemed to be good for the fast guys to pass each other on? or was I just missing something?
