They seemed to have researched enough to know that Dorner's trainer was accused of kicking a mentally handicapped man and know all three witnesses, a murderer, a mentally handicapped man, and his father. What they intentionally OMITTED was the trainer had just failed Dorner. Dorner didn't report the alleged assault for weeks until after he was failed. There were 3 independent witnesses that say the kicking didn't happen. It's so one sided it's OBVIOUS.

No one's bringing it up because it's completely wrong. They fired on these trucks several hours BEFORE they found his burned up truck. The real insanity is that they fired on the truck without positively IDing the occupants and being attacked.

I lived in Wescherster CA, a stones throw across the 405 from Inglewood and watched the city burn. If someone doing what Dorner's doing, is a good thing - Like you said, "But now at least the the officers will think twice before sweeping claims of abuse under the rug, especially since their family might get hurt for their actions." Then why is the LAPD supposedly still abusive? If the LA riots didn't cure that problem, what makes you think one mad killing innocent people is going to?

He killed a young woman who had the misfortune of being related to the guy who represented him in court. People's lives get turned upside down every day. If one of your Mom or Dads acquaintances' gets wronged and their life gets turned upside down, should I praise them for targeting and killing you? Say what ever you want about him killing those personally responsible, but killing their relatives is pretty fucking stupid. It is HUMAN LIFE he is ending. He is murdering women...

"As an officer Mr. Dorner had a responsibility to report the problem of illegal actions being performed by his co-workers." You don't even know how to comprehend what you read and interpret it into a plausible thought! I think what you meant to say was, "Officer Dorner had a responsibilty to report any illegal actions being committed by his co-workers." And just because that didn't work, he DOES NOT have the right to kill people. Why don't you go read a book called "Serpico."

"We need cops that's think before they react" True. I have been arrested from my own HOME due to an inbred filing a warrant of arrest and letting it SIT there (somehow) until I called the police about her dogs barking at 11pm at night constantly. She knew I would call eventually. They came, and I was arrested and hauled to jail in handcuffs. ! They have to do a job but other times I see poor judgment. Silly judgment. Excessive force. Their mental structures are just off.

The notion that you could "reward" Dorner is a wrong thinking. Right is right. Justice is justice. The truth is the truth. You can't reward or punish someone by either acknowledging, or denying any of these three. By suggesting you can, you are acting in the same way LAPD is believed to have acted by punishing Dorner for whistleblowing. LAPD is alleged to have punished Dorner by denying the truth because they didn't like the way he acted.

Sure. They stated that Dorner, the murderer, a schizophrenic man and the man's father were witness against Dorner's trainers. They OMITTED that there were 3 independent witnesses that supported the female trainer. Do you know how rare police brutality against the handicapped by a female is? They also omitted that this alleged assault from weeks earlier didn't come up until the trainer informed Dorner he was failing. Notice they only use "alleged" when referring to Dorner and not the trainer?

I totally disagree with Cenk. I'm going to use the same argument that Cenk used when discussing gun control right after a school shooting. When is it the right time to talk about police corruption and brutality? After 10 accounts of excessive force and deaths of innocent victims? How about 20? It's the right time to talk about these issues. The police are supposed to be trained professionals and not vigilantes. Protect and serve. They shouldn't be shooting first and asking questions later.

As someone with schizophrenia I am very afraid of the police. As someone who was in the Navy, I know that being in the Navy doesn't really mean you get any sort of 'special training' (unless it has to do with your job, and your ability within your job) 3. What would be the point of shooting people who were never involved, and could not therefor have committed any grievance against the suspect? What reason at all would he have to kill them??

It should be pretty clear that Dorner never gave two shits about fighting corruption in the department, and was actually more concerned with getting petty revenge for alleged slights. Why would he bother posting a rambling manifesto and drawing a massive amount of attention to himself if he were truly commited to rooting out corrupt cops one by one? He wanted to make this whole thing about the ego of Christopher Dorner, not the little man getting crushed under the jackboot of the police state.

As cold-blooded as Dorner's actions were, they had a strange discipline. He wasn't shooting at random cars. Re rewarding killers, it is either luck or that LAPD are lousy shots that those 3 people they shot at didn't die. Are you rewarding them for ALMOST murdering 3 people?

To boldly answer your question: For the record, Dorner is not targeting random people. He knows clearly who to target; therefore its not a question of whether or not it would be ok for Dorner to kill our family members because his vendetta is not random, but rather organized and specific. Everyone who he has killed thus far are related to the corrupt LAPD family whether directly or by family association... Knock-knock, Time to wake up sir...

So HOW somebody is killed is more important than the fact that they were murdered? When 99% of guns are owned and used legally, that's not enough justification for me to give up my rights. Maybe that's a cultural misunderstanding that Europeans will never understand, but in the US my right to a firearm is as protected as my right of free speech. You can call it however you like, but my forefathers died for ALL my rights so I find it cowardly to just give them up due to the actions of criminals.

The officers responsible for shooting up that vehicle with innocent women inside of it will face no punishment. There will be no repercussions. The incident is just being shrugged off as "oh well shit happens" by both the LAPD and the NEWS MEDIA. I don't think it's okay for Dorner to be killing anyone. I also don't think it's okay that the LAPD has basically adopted a "shoot to kill" mentality. There is pretty much no interest for the LAPD to bring in Dorner alive, and that is a big problem in how they're handling the situation at the moment.

This. He's in the wrong for going after family members but honestly the LAPD has no moral high ground over him given how many innocent people they kill. Hell they couldnt help shooting at two random people in the search for this guy. His accounts of police conduct in his manifesto seem very realistic. I don't think he's lying. Honestly I'm glad the LAPD is getting a taste of their own medicine.

Ms Bachman comes out to deliver an updated report, and the first question asked by a reporter was, "How did this fire take place?" She ignores the question and goes on to say "I can tell you how he first entered the cabin earlier today, he stole a white truck..." Honestly, I'd like to believe people watching can't seriously be this dense.. Not saying I agree with Mr. Dorner for taking the lives of anyone, but what he was fighting against(The police force, LAPD) is beyond understandable.

I know this isn't overly important to the story, but the two women were actually Latinas. The mother was 71 and was shot twice in the back and taken to the hospital in stable condition. Her daughter (in her mid-late 40s) was hit by broken glass from the truck windows. Also, the truck was not the right blue color, nor the right make/model/brand as the suspect's truck. This is just another example of over zealous, gun happy police. Last year it was Florida, this year it's California.

This guy is using pure psychological warfare here. Burning that truck was a start, now they are assuming that this was his truck, but at the same time they aren't sure so every truck is a possible weapon. Now they don't know where he is, he could be sighting their heads in on a scope right now or he could be messing with the families. Obviously this guy knows how to mess with the cops minds and he is exploiting that fear in a very effective manner.

There's nothing that says "serve and protect" quite like unloading 50 rounds at the backs of two elderly hispanic women while they were delivering newspapers. Its hilarious how scared the cops are that they'd put a $1 million bounty on his head. There's no way they'd offer that much money if the guy was *just* a serial killer targeting normal civilians. At this point, I'm starting to favor Rambo over the LAPD.

Officially, LAPD claims they dismissed him because the claims, which were investigated at several levels, showed no merit. The supervisor he is claiming did these things had written several negative performance reports on him shortly before he decided to blow the whistle. It's possible that is all part of the cover up, but I'm less than inclined to believe the guy shooting his lawyer's daughter.

The LAPD is proving this guys point. As of now, they have targeted and/or injured just as many innocent people as Dorner has trying to get to him. The fact that they are shooting first and asking questions second, and trying to kill anybody that fits this man's description proves how truly powerful he is. They're goal isn't to catch this man and allow him to tell his story, they're goal is to kill him and silence him. I wonder how many more people the LAPD will injure/kill trying to get to him

But its soo bad and obvious, cops dont even really hide there corruption anymore, we just have to sit back and take it. Dorner has scared the snot out of the LAPD. There are more than a hundred cowardly cops and their families that have left LA and are now in hiding. They never should have fired Dorner for reporting another cops criminal actions but that is just the way LAPD covers up things so frequently. Calling Dorner a domestic terrorist is absolutely silly. He is a vigilante who has committed murder in retaliation of those cops who have wronged society, which is a crime but he is not a domestic terrorist.

The LAPD are careless and desperate to find this man, and the chief commanding officer said he will use any and all the money he needs to find this man. Mr Dorner has made it clear in his manifesto that he wants his NAME cleared and to expose the corruption within the LAPD. While I do not necessarily agree with his methods, I think he felt he needed to do something like this to prevent the abuse of power of the LAPD from being able to just be swept under the rug. Chris Dorner was willing to literally put his life on the line to expose the abuse of power of the LAPD and to stand up for what he believed in.

Well, the cop who was her father Knew that he was innocent (the officer confessed to abusing the suspect to the lawyer)But the lawyer knowing the truth still fired him and you have to think how many officers have done this and were fired and how many excessive abuse cases have been dismissed. I dont condone his actions. But now at least the the officers will think twice before sweeping claims of abuse under the rug, especially since their family might get hurt for their actions.

My whole thing is, I don't see how the police could be framing him or why they would because....He wrote a manifesto, clearly saying he was going after families, which is wrong, no matter how corrupt lapd is. If he didn't write that manifesto, then there wouldn't be much of a reason for the lapd to frame him in the first place, he was fired years ago, I'm sure they had forgot all about him.
