Just an FYI, it's actually Lampenfloras that drop the elder spirits, not the Liverworts as they originally posted. Was camping Lampenfloras for roughly an hour and they have pretty decent drop rates of both magic and elder spirits

also to a lesser extent, panic buy emeralds and gold bars for runecrafting update? since binding necklaces will simply grant 2X combo runes, and that the fail odds are a sliding-scale. i only say that since they're probably going to integrate combo runes into spells from Lvl-5 Enchant and above...which feels severely questionable. unless it also comes w/mini-tweaks to other spells. or maybe they're shoehorning combo rune usage, but they're not compulsery to use other than newer higher spells. the idea of having (non) compulsory rune usage might potentially enhance spells further down the line, if they say, add attuned runic pouches. only say runic pouches, since the runic attuners can generate thread without accessing the abyss, the place importance on combo+Elemental combo runes would probably smooth out any times the attuner asks for any of the basic altars. though it is gatekept by requiring 80 RC.

Sometimes i think about playing again but then they nerf something or annoy the playerbase by increasing the membership price. I don't care if the top players that min maxed the game did most damage cause of poison. As a casual i enjoyed hard mode Kerpac with that build. They always have a reason for these changes but they never deliver what they say ( removing treasure hunter, adding poison familiar).

Like stone spirits for mining they are consumed when chopping their respective log, giving you an extra. And like the pickaxe of life and death you will need them to forge the hatchet equivalent.

I'd argue both nerfs are fully justified as they hampered new magic and summoning content due to how strong they were. Sure, I would've liked to see them addressed earlier, but game dev takes time. As the old adage goes: better late than never.

They haven't released any new summoning content since binding contracts came out 4 years ago as far as I'm aware, so that's kind of a moot point. They also likely just significantly crippled poison builds by making blood reaver not proc poison anymore and didn't introduce anything to replace them with.

There's no point as by the time you reach 60 for dragon you're already gathering the bits needed for the next upgrade. Plus why would you want a t60,70 or 80 that cannot be augmented? It's just dead content.
