I habent read any of the comments, I have read enough when I first started with the dare practice. Let me just tell you all, if you listen to what they are saying and implemented into your mind and life and are consistent, I honestly promise you, you will not only recover you will look back on the journey you are about to take and will be glad this happened to you! I wouldn't go back and change it for the world. Trust yourself and take it with you and listen to these guys. Peace to you all ❤

I have felt like this ever since I was really young. Some times are better than others. We moved to a new state 6 months ago, and ever since then, it's like I just cannot calm down. Then a hurricane hit our area in September. Being alone really triggers it for me. I am always afraid that something terrible will happen to me when I'm alone. I'm extremely hyper aware of every little sensation that my body has. It exhausts me and leaves me with little to no energy. I just wanna feel safe in my own body again

I notice I become a hunched inward turtle when whiteknuckling through physical sensations. By the time I notice that, it's full body tension. Love the lighthouse analogy & the flashlight Michelle says. When overtired & stressed it does become challenging to DARE.

That’s one of the most challenging situations! I find it very painful to go through this. I sometimes apply the steps of DARE or whatever logical reasoning and just let it be, allow the energy to precipitate accept, knowing that it is just adrenaline rush, let it express itself and remind myself that I’m really safe and that it’s going to go. “This too shall pass “ Wish you well

I've been working on (acceptance) but one day my cousin seen me doing relaxing techniques and told me that if im trying to relax then im not really doing acceptance so im conflicted right now. Can you do a video on this subject to know whether or not acceptance and relaxing techniques can coexist.. thanks.

I'd say it depends on how your doing your relaxation techniques ? Are you doing them to get rid of something or because you find relaxation helps you feel more relaxed. For me at least I can do relaxation in 2 ways. I can do it because I want to do it or I can do it to get rid of something. The second option often leaves me feeling more stressed because relaxation isn't always possible .. Hope this helps in some way.
