IHT will raise @ £9 billion this tax year, it is increasing at @10% each year. I would prefer to put 1p in the £ on income tax and scrap it entirely. This would give people an incentive to work harder and leave everything tax free to their children.

I’m in Scotland and it’s not just food, Farmers help the council by clearing snow from the roads yes paid for but they wouldn’t get clear if they didn’t! In storms they go out and help with fallen trees, helping people get out of flooding to safety! They pull cars out of snow drifts! They cut/trim all the hedgerows! I’ve had a farmer help me so many times, I support and salute them!
