Property taxes are one thing but the aesthetic city ordinances that have nothing to do with safety also need to be removed such as no fence or a fence limited to 3 ft high for a yard in front of a house. But also having to pay $3-10k to a structural engineer when making any house change that has no structural change is lunacy! And this is not even going to mandatory HOAs which clearly violate laws....

A tax on goods with no income tax is a regressive tax that disproportionately impacts the bottom half. It has to do with percentage of income paid in tax. A person living pay check to pay check spends a way higher percentage of their money on goods and services. Billionaires horde their wealth. What Trump said was spot on! He was talking about the economic struggle between the United States and the world central banks though out are history. Switzerland has generally low import tariffs, and as of January 1, 2024, industrial imports are exempt from customs duties. Do a little research before posting your rubbish please.

@1998bikeguy dig a little deeper. They have to import commodities to support their domestic product. In fact i used to work for one of the largest commodities traders in the world, based out of Switzerland. The have very import tariffs on anything they produce domestically which is limited. They have high tariffs on Chinese goods.

My son, a white straight, untatted, unpierced boy, was overlooked by Costco for over two years, even with a college education & retail experience. But he finally got on after a Costco employee friend of his talked to the right manager & he got hired. This was in a conservative town in Az. Now my son is one of their top performers & is trained in many different departments. As a Seattle based organization, they have done affirmative action hiring, now DEI, for years. A bunch of alternative, many colors of folks work there all over here in AZ. Costco is making a big deal of their normal biz hiring practices IMO.

just wondering a bit over the back to the office deal for federal employees, I drove truck for 30 years claimed my meals on the road in accordance with the irs laws, law was changed so only Federal Employees could claim Per Diem (at the time i stopped being able to claim it it was around 56 dollars a day) and how many of those 2,000,000 fed employees are claiming per diem on their taxes WHILE sitting at home?
