I had up to date drivers at one point, then when I had a "technician" turn my system into a dual boot system with linux along side windows 10 he ended up accidentally wiping all of my stuff including windows. He helped me get windows up and running but that was as far as it went, and when I was reinstalling drivers I accidentally installed older drivers than before and was confused as to why my performance was so much worse than it used to be. This video helped fix a lot of the damage caused on the performance side

I know i'm late, but increasing vram is really stupid, The IGPU is using your actual ram either way, so increasing vram will only decrease the actual ram your pc has, and doesn't change performance for games. So to put it together, there's no such thing as increasing vram without buying a graphics card

i had a spare mini pc to test and it had a j4125/uhd600 Underground 2 before : 1024x768 medium to low detail for a decent framerate Underground 2 now : 1280x960 maxed out for a more than good framerate also now cuphead runs like a charm i wasn't trusting this at first but it worked

Awesome video! I'm glad someone actually remembered us the lowspec gamers. My problem is that, I'm unable to turn on the Ultimate Performance power plan or any other power plan apart from Balance mode. I tried running the command and even importing .pow files but still does not appear. 😢

When I click on the battery icon on task bar, I'm able to move the slider to best performance, but I doubt that's as good as "Ultimate Performance" Perhaps I'm the only one facing this problem 😢

What would be the best RAM settings to use with Integrated Intel Iris XE graphics? Given the choice between better bandwidth and better latency, would either be more important? For example, 3200 MT/s with CL 22 vs. 2666 MT/s at CL 18? Would this matter much, if at all? I know faster ram in general is going to matter for integrated graphics (at least to a point). Also, what's true for AMD integfated graphics might not be true for Intel integrated graphics. It's a lot easier to find info on AMD integrated graphics because they've had much better integrated graphics options for a long time, but now the gap is a lot closer.

There's already someone that made a video about this comparing 3200mhz vs 4000 and a bunch of others. The TL;DR is that there's a 1-2fps performance increase from 3200 going to 4000. about 3-6fps when going from 2666 to 3200. It's really not as broad as people make it out to be.

It means your pc is thermally throttling. You can fix it by under volting, underclocking, allowing better ventilation for your pc, or replacing thermal paste.

Shanthosh Ravi is right, you just described and thermal throttling or overheating situation (they re both the same thing honestly). The problem is usually resolved with a thermal paste replacement (make sure you rub the heatsink touching the cpu really well with rubbing alcohol until there is no more black/grey stuff coming from it, dont apply this to the cpu tho) and cleaning out the heatsink fins from any dust that might ve built up. If these dont help apply the other fixex like undervoling and underclocking
