Try moving your router into a different room, I first had my router in the living room and then thought it would be faster in my room, put it in my room and used ethernet and the results where less then 0, I kept getting kicked out. Found out that the room WiFi connection is only used for extenders and the living room is where you put the main WiFi

This DOES NOT increase download speed or reduce ping. It increases the speed it takes to do DNS lookups, that is all. Your download speed and ping is limited by your connection to your broadband network and the connectivity between your ISP and PSN.

Its all about the UPLOAD SPEED. When your shooting at an enemy (doing damage) thats UPLOAD SPEED based. The higher your upload the quicker you connect damage on your enemy.
