Chandni and Chaalbaaz released in 1989. Both films had two male actors (Rishi Kapoor - Vinod Khanna & Sunny Deol - Rajinikant) but it was Sridevi who was the HERO of both the films eclipsing her male costars. Truly India's biggest female megastar.

Such harmony & professionalism thats why earlier films were great for RajniKanth & Sunny Deol to accept less screentime - they respected Sridevi's & director's talent. Media spread lies they were upset with roles etc. ..Sridevi may be distant but during work she wouldn't differentiate, she was very professional (her mom probably was a hindrance) Sridevi always gave great scenes with Kadar Khan or Shakti kapoor, Rohini Johnny lever etc. she has that comic sense.

The section from 1:31:44 to 1:36:25 is embarrassing. You are like that nosy aunty who wants the latest gossip. Otherwise for the most part it was such an informative interview. A film maker who tried innovative styles of film making during the 80s. He has happily shared his experiences working with Sridevi and other actors. Sadly for your ‘shorts’ to grab eyeballs you need to get answers to questions about Jhanvi, Shahrukh khan, Salman khan etc. You already got so much material about Sridevi. You could see Pankaj Parashar getting uncomfortable answering question ms about Jhanvi. You didn’t have to be so desperate. It shows. And repeating the sentences given by the interviewer is so annoying. You are getting to interview some of the most talented people of the 80s and 90s Hindi cinema. Don’t waste it by focusing so much on what content will increase views of your ‘shorts’. We, the audience at time, are still only in our late 50s. We are interested in what happened BTS in those movies.

Pankaj Parashar was one of the truly original directors who emerged in the late 80s early 90s with a zany style and memorable films. It seems like Sri Devi was the golden goose, first for her own family and then for her husband. Sounds like she has 2 distinct persona's - on camera and off camera.
