33:00 When they show the "Mineral Ice" container up close, it almost looks like it says "Funeral Ice"(?)--the first letter is apparently supposed to be an "M", but it looks kind of weird to me.

11:56 $499 in 1987 could get you a 25" TV with maybe 36 channels. In 2021 you can get a 50" with availability of nearly any movie or TV show from past 100 years, including this video.

I remember copies of The New Yorker laying around the common areas of my grandmother’s retirement home back in the 90s. I never remember seeing a copy anyplace else. I remember an episode of the Simpsons where Marge says they got a rejection letter when trying to subscribe to it.

23:08 I'd forgotten all about the Kiplinger Report (or, the "privately circulated" Kiplinger Washington Letter). At the time, there were lots of magazines with similar content (as shown in this ad), the names of some of which ring a bell (Fortune, BusinessWeek, etc.), and some of those might still be in circulation for all I know. Of course, nowadays similar information is almost certainly available from various websites.

The crudely-drawn picture used there is funny, because if that's really how they "fix" their problems (just pulling nuts & bolts out of a TV camera), they're never going to get back on the air! ;)
