You cant really divide Metal Genres into regions... Black Metal is both in the US, and in Europe, as well as Japan. Keep in mind it origined in Norway. Death Metal has its origins in the US and in Sweden, but theres good Death Metal from all around the world... still, Death Metal from Stockholm and Death Metal from Tampas, Florida are the best and oldest (Death, for example). And lets not forget Metal Genres such as Power Metal, which mainly got popular through the band Avenged Sevenfold (I am aware that it existed before, but as Avenged Sevenfold are like the Green Day of Metal, they made it known to a wide audience... and then abandoned the style on their third album.)

best metal comes from the deep Europe and never heard around the world until internet. Fuck power metal and south usa death shit. THE best melodic death band today is from Sweden, 'Arch enemy'. Best black is from European Counties, usa is mainstream metal like terrorist everyone hates them
