@@MC-uj7tv There is no mass market for guitar playing, the general public hate guitar solos as much as they hate drum solos, that's why you never hear guitar solos on the radio, the dj will always fade out a song before the guitar solo because the dj knows the public will change the radio station when the guitar solo starts.

@@dreamdiction well, this is kind of hard to explain, let me tell you, you're a 100% right about the fact that mass market doesn't exist if you listen to guitarists like Yjm, Steve vai, nuno, buck, Gilbert and so on. It's fairly simple, it's a whole another level of music, you need to have some taste and ear qualities I would say in order to listen to these guys and appreciate them, feel their music and what they do. At least this is my thought, I see it in this way. I have to admit that at the same time I disagree for the radio part and that is really simple. I'm Italian, I listen to different radios here and I gotta tell you for the most I hear trap and pop music played on them, but at the same time people here appreciate for the most guitar and guitar solos so it is not rare if you listen on a radio a Van halen song or something like beat it, Santana and so on. Yes this is more commercial for some reasons I have to say but in 18 years I've been living I've never heard a radio fading a guitar solo, never. Another thing, in my city I see different groups playing at bars, pubs, on beaches, for the most they are hard rockers or heavy metal musicians! Lots of people here I know and friends listen to iron maiden, black sabbath, queen, aerosmith and so on, even many of my school professors (and I'm in a scientific high school bud), you just have to find the right people. Rock n Roll never dies man, have a great day!
