I had a 1977 black Les Paul Custom with gold plated pickups and abalone shell inlays. Paid $1000 for the guitar with the hard shell case back in 1977.

Love the tone, and this guitar. I have an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro with the phrase shift and coil tapping, and it's a very fun guitar to play and sounds awesome too. It's all black with gold hardware, and was made in 2016. I will record on it one day. As your playing goes, it is beautiful as ever, and am very happy to see you playing a LP!
