Music and beautiful dancers from a lifetime ago. Exquisite music and the finest performances. The lovely ladies made the music more enjoyable, and no one was as meticulous about her dancing than Ruth. Hard to believe 4 of these princesses are gone. But I am sure if there is a heaven I will see my dancing queen dance again one day.

Great expressive dance as always. The music, touching, was actually originally for a bank commercial to appeal to newlyweds. Written by a strange little actor/musician, Paul Williams, who also wrote the Love Boat theme song. Watching him in film it's hard to believe he could write something that brings out such expression in music and dance. These girls are perfect to highlight everything they do.

Fabulous! Another Flick Colby masterpiece of creation. Wonderful to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a work in progress. And the perfect tune...I was still 8 years old at the time, and in a way my life had....only just begun..you might say (sorry! but true). The early 70's were of course an economic and social wasteland, full of inequality, prejudice and oppression. Yet at the same time could generate wonderful moments like this. I wonder if those girls had any inkling of how perfect they were on these occasions? Please, someone, invent a time machine...and a true anti-ageing formula!

This is unauthorized Karen Carpenter. Little did the group realize that Karen was a key dance financier and secretly a dancer in the group . She did not need to pay them to promote this song and they did it behind her back. She caught them doing unauthorized production. That is why there's a gap in the tape . She was shot several times in the head and back.
