Just watched a documentary about the Worldwide Church of God (Herbert Armstrong) and then I watched this. The contrast is incredible. The focus is night & day. The centre of man's glory vs the glory of God and His Word is what makes the 1st video shallow, hollow, and full of loss; this video filled with truth and hope; eternal perspective, and joy.

There is no substitute for consistent, solid, bible exposition. Praise the Lord for faithful ministry. One part that really should be highlighted is he wanted 30 hours a week to study. Praise the Lord for someone who is not afraid to do the hard work of study. Those pastors today who are searching the web to print sermons to read to their congregation, need to learn from this example and spend time in the hard work of study. Excellent Video.

Never has a man of God influenced my walk with Jesus Christ than reverend John McArthur. I listen to his expository messages from Gods word almost everyday. Grace Church has so many resources to help believers grow in their walk with the Lord. God has richly blessed this faithful congregation and minister. What a legacy. This was great! I have listened to Pastor MacArthur since I was 5 years old (41 years now). Being that I was born and raised in Florida, I have had to listen to him on the radio, tapes, his app, , and now online live with his new app Grace Media. He is truly a gift from God. Nobody explains the WORD like he can. A true teacher and godly man. We are so blessed to have Pastor MacArthur still with us (2023).

Simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I’ve never attended Grace, but God has used Pastor John as my pastor to lead me to sound biblical teaching, helping me to become rooted and grounded in God’s Word, so much so that my life has never been the same. I am hard pressed to find such teaching in my local churches. But, I pray that God send a revival in the hearts of His people and give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness and knowledge to grow us all into maturity by His Great Grace! I am hopeful that one day, I will get to experience this holy love and fellowship among believers in my local community, communities across our country and the world! 💕🙏🏽✝️

😁 I've thought about playing his old sermons at a slower speed so my pea brain can keep up. Love MacArthur. I've listened to hundreds of his sermons already in my new Christian life. In my opinion John is better than ever even at his ripe old age. Learned so much through him and have been using his study Bible recently.

That was beautiful, we are blessed no matter when we come into being taught by Johnny Mack. What an honor to meet him and talk to him and share in the Joy of Gods living word. He couldn't have done it without these faithful followers appointed by God. Truly amazing if you ever get a chance, save up, head down to a conference ...a real treat and edification all starting with perspicuity of scripture! God bless you John even long after your gone, scary to think but coming, who will fill your shoes?

Such a great man of God. Faithful and true always! In this day of biblical confusion and the watering down of the gospel, John has stood fast for 50 years. I was drawn here through a beloved hymn "The Church’s One Foundation" - Congregational singing (Shepherds’ Conference) sung in your church that I found on KZbin. My eyes were wet when I listened to the song and then watched this Fifty Years of Grace video. I live in Hong Kong, a city torn between opposite political views in the past months and even years. The rupture is especially poignant among Christians and churches here. I just left my original church with my family because of this societal event. But thank God, I have found a new church near my home, which is truly a precious gift from God. Therefore I somehow understand the feelings expressed in the comments here. So many churches and Christians are now strayed from God. May He bless you all in your honest pursuit of the Truth, just like He blessed me!

Thank you for your story. The Chinese are flexing their tyrannical muscle in your beloved and beautiful home, these are surely the last days. John MacArthur is a preacher for the last days with the abundance of false prophets rising up and the churches being shut down. I am Canadian and I have been watching a church just outside of Edmonton, Alberta being shut down by the RCMP, four fences including black tarps and insane amounts of police. No politician has stood up against this and no other church has come to show their solidarity. The young man who is Pastor at this church, Grace Life Church is Pastor Coates, he was just released from a supermax penitentiary in Alberta for more than 30 days for unapologetically preaching the Truth, as the Lord has shown Him in His Word. This young Pastor is a graduate of the Master's Seminary, the Seminary that was started by John MacArthur. May God continue to bless you, even and maybe especially, in these end times. I don't know who put this together but it was such a blessing to watch...Im from Texas in small town...very small...There are no Church's that teach like Grace Community...in my area and even farther...I listen to Pastor MacArthur EVERY DAY on either Refnet OR the app and if it wasn't for the sermons from him & a 'few' others...I would not know the Lord as I do today...Christ has allowed my eyes & heart to be opened from these true servants He has and I thank God for them !....God bless & keep you all...!

A lot of the material John MacArthur used were from commentaries & books others' work. For decades the material preached & taught were sold for money might have been using other people's work. In question & answer #54 2008, a man stood to point that out but MacArthur brush it off to say he was sorry for doing that not defend it. Base on the information, MacArthur might have used tenth of thousand of others' material & never gave credit for. Do you think this is not thievery & plagiarism? Do you ever see the correlation the material MacArthur used were from others' work? Check his library, the forensic evident might revealed there? The reason GTY allowed free material was they might have realized a lot of MacArthur's teaching/preaching were from others commentaries & books he used for preparing his sermons. What do you think about this?

Doesn't matter. I personally got huge help from his preaching, so ultimately i believe its the Holy Spirit's work.
