I was 15, I had my nose completely smashed and broken in 4-5 places in the pit for Coal Chamber at Ozzfest. 3hrs of not being able to get the bleeding to stop wasnt gonna prevent me from seeing Pantera. Thank God I made sure not to miss the set considering they broke up a year later. Forever grateful to have seen them!!

I've said before that if Pantera didn't happen in the 90s but came along right now, they would be just as big. They were a revolution of metal. They made me look upon Metallica/Anthrax/Slayer as old news. It didn't hurt that there was some southern-ness in their music without being southern rock. A little more bluesy.
