I would just recommend Pantera's entire discography (1990-2000). One of the few bands that became heavier as their albums progressed. We'll save their 80's era for another time. That era isn't as bad as some people make it out to be.

Pantera LOVED their fans, and you can see this over and over and over and over and over and over and over in their home videos, which they thankfully captured for all of us to enjoy. They adored their fans, and went out of their way to spend time with them, and build them up, and listen to them. I think that last flashing "success", especially in the context of the song, epitomizes what Pantera was, and how much at their core, they just wanted the best for everyone. So many universally positive messages can be found throughout Pantera's catalogue. It's pretty amazing, especially considering how often they are overlooked.

Yngewie Malmsteen's " Krakatoa" is a hidden gem that really only guitar players know about. If you loved Dimebags playing, you have to listen to the Krakatoa instrumental. Yngewie is about the only guitarist that would give Dime a run for his money. RIP DB
