Listening to you reading lyrics in anticipation of song and not knowing a melody was fun :D, even better than just going for it, to watch a reaction later how lyrics fit to song

"is there someone knocking?" -nah, that's just the universe recovering after that earth shattering dime solo

Most metal concerts are like what you saw ib this video, smatterings of people will have their phones out but here in Australia, people tend cut loose and mosh together. Japan was a little different, everyone moshes but they pull out glow sticks and do this choreographed crowd dances. Tokyo was the strangest and possibly the funnest ozzfest i went to

Back in the day when Pantera was tearing it up, we didn't have cell phones. I honestly have not been to a concert of any band in the past 10 years so I've never seen the "Cell Phone" phenomena. When we went back in the day....it was fists in the air, mosh pits, beer flying in the air and just mad ass power.
@captzero0073 жыл бұрын
agreed. My introduction to Pantera was around 1991. I don't think I owned a cellphone until around 2005. Even so, cell phones from 15 years ago were primitive compared to the hand held computers that they are now. All you could do with them was make phone calls and maybe send a txt message to a phone number.

You have those with their phones out, the people who came to have fun, and the druggies who find all sorts of ways to sneak pot and shit in

This was about friends that started talking about them behind their back after their band started taking off. His reaction after word got back to him from mutual friends. He's basically telling them to shut up and walk away. Or he's going to kick their ass.

Most music now hardly has a real band behind it, and most people don’t even sing, so I agree with you
@dillonthompson7513 жыл бұрын
One of their songs I don't ever see anyone react to is Drag the Waters. That one grooves hard af. I'd even go as far as to say it grooves harder than this song, might get backlash for that though lol but maybe you could check it out sometime.

So a lady from Africa finally hears Pantera 30 years after they’ve been relevant? Once Dime died, so did the music. I’ll always love Pantera, but it’s a little too late. This was awesome 30 years ago..

If your phone is out you best be prepared to have it lost or smashed, doesn’t mean you don’t see it but most people do keep them somewhere safe.

Love seeing someone discover pantera. Do more please. How about revolution is my name? And if you wanna hear Phil's voice in another band try DOWN , LIFER is probably my favorite song off the first album.
@manifesto81593 жыл бұрын
Having a phone out to record or having a phone out as a light? Lighters are used as ambient light for ballads...those who dont carry lighters will use the light on their phones. Otherwise cell phones aren't really used.

You gotta do "revolution is my name" and "cemetery gates" next....never seen someone read all the lyrics before they listen...i dig that!

I only like some of Pantera's music, only the instrumental parts of the songs. I play drums and a little guitar, so I can only relate to the instrumental parts. The vocals is too much yelling.
