Actually, both parks are different Busch Gardens is a theme park, where Kings Dominion is an amusement park and as far as price goes KD is all over BG! Plus, it's about 30 minutes closer for me anyway, not trying to put down Busch Gardens because I'd love to ride all of their coasters at some point, but for the price you pay I can understand for Busch Gardens because it's a theme park. Kings Dominion has some pretty good coasters though.

@@user-od4qw2kj1c Yea, lots of redundant sensors, I'm sure the switch is going to be the main reason the ride shuts down for maintenance. The operator should have visual on the track switch as well and should have the option for a manual stop as well.

It should be similar and really does look amazing! The outer bank turning that much should really be something! The first turn is really the big unknown, since it takes place on the side of a hill it’s tough to read the height and how far it travels down. Plus someone pointed out the track actually goes under the first zero-g roll, and not over. But the general gist is here.

I was just at Busch Gardens for a week. Two or three weeks ago..for my birthday... In Williamsburg, Virginia. This roller coaster kind of reminds me of the Tempesto at Busch Gardens. I LOVE BUSCH GARDENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait for the new roller coaster!

I am going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg this year so I will not be able to ride this, same as kings Dominion if they get a new coaster. Luckily my home park Kennywood is getting a new coaster “Steel Curtain” Also. Busch Gardens Tampa is getting a new coaster, RMC Gwazi and just got Tigris. Now universal is also getting a new coaster. I visited both the Florida parks last year so I might go in 2020

Some of the elements on this makes me wonder if RMC was originally supposed to build this but maybe some sequence of events happened that made it to where they had to go with intamin instead? Sort of like how Drachen Fire was supposed to be a B&M but they ended up having to go with Arrow Dynamics instead.

I think it's just Intamin showing that they can add modern elements to their rides. The stall and outward back are RMC staples for sure, but nothing says Intamin can't use them. Besides, the multi launch aspect is decidedly Intamin.

nope. the coaster that was originally going here was an intamin giga accelerator model. BGW wasn't allowed to build on the river so they had to cancel it and give us pantheon.

I like this, but one small critique is that the first inversion actually goes over the following turn into the outer banks, not under, as you have done in this layout. I'd also make the transfer section slightly larger, and extend the second launch fins to the base of the top hat. And finally, the brake run is way too short, the descending part needs to continue much further. But apart from these critiques, great job! A few more trees here and there, and you've got a perfect coaster! :)

@@AmusementInsider Based on the fact the maximum speed has been leaked to be 76mph (at the bottom of the massive drop from the top hat), we can assume that this drop will be around 210-220ft, going off other coasters.

@@AmusementInsider I forgot to mention, the drop will likely have a magnetic holding brake like the Parc Astérix launch coaster, so that will kill some speed from the drop, so it will likely be around 230-250 ft tall to reach 76 mph. :)

LSM's act as a brake if the switch hasn't occurred. Probably just a series of sensors that tell the switch the go once the train passes a certain point, and then to stop the train if something isn't aligning by another point
