This was also one of my favorite Atari 8-bit soundtracks. If I remember it only played while you were actually playing the game, and not on the title screen. Warhawk was another great (Rob Hubbard I think) and BMX Simulator from David Whitaker.

No I had to teach myself how to do it...it's easy once you get the hang of it

Do you know if rmt is capable to work with modes to get high range of tones?

Been a while since I played with RMT, but it should be able to get higher ranges, so long as it's a mode supported by POKEY.
