They are real! I saw one back in 2006 near junction 10 on the M4 motorway near Reading. It was a clear sunny autumn morning, and what appeared to be a big black leopard was walking along the edge of a field. A domestic cat would likely not have caught my eye at that distance (several hundred yards), and even if it did, it would have appeared as a tiny furry blob. This animal was clearly defined and larger than an adult labrador. It's movement was also unmistakably feline, as it walked slightly crouched with a very smooth movement (like a snake with 4 legs). Dogs are much stiffer in their posture and jerky with their movements in comparison.

Thank you very much for watching and welcome. That's great to hear your story and with enough of a detailed sighting to define it as a large cat. I think this is great people are sharing there accounts on hear, spot on. Check out the full documentary I've uploaded recently if you haven't already. Thanks again

It looks like a big cat to me. It has the heavy build, low slung body and is certainty not a deer.

Thanks for your message. Yes you can certainly see exactly what I can see. The size of it from my measurements is quite significant. You can even see the tail flicking up at the back end close to the floor. If its not a cat I have no idea at all. Along with my other evidence I'm personally sold on the idea there hear. 👍🏻 🌳 ⛺️ 🔥 🐈

@@welcome2thewoodsuk Yes, I'm sure it's a cat, and a Black Leopard. The tail is another give away feature. So long, and upturned at the end. I have been fortunate to see two Black Leopards over many years, including one at the beginning of this year.

@edwardtreadwell3859 That's reassuring that alot of us are seeing the same thing in the trail cam picture. I feel so lucky to have had these experiences, if you haven't seen the dull documentary yet be sure to check it out. Fantastic to know you had your own experiences. I'm taking the prints an the photo also the audio up to a big cat sanctuary soon to be analysed by a professional big cat expert. Should be interesting. 30 Days in the wild will be a good video coming. Thanks again for your messages

@@welcome2thewoodsuk I will certainly look out for the documentary. My first sighting was back in April 2000 while birdwatching using binoculars, and no doubt at all it was a Panther, about 50 yards away at most. This years was while on the upper deck of a bus. Passing fields of sheep, i saw what i first thought was a black dog running really fast and straight. It was heading towards my way, and as it got nearer it was so obviously a Black Leopard. Long tail, powerful frame, head held low, and ridiculously fast!. Good hunting!.

@@welcome2thewoodsuk If they exist getting a good trail camera photo should not be difficult with a bit of targeted effort. The fact not one good photo has been obtained speaks volumes, either to the operator skill or lack of big cats. Even the Forrest Gumps of the reality TV documentary guild can get photos of some rare creatures.

I’m 100% convinced I’ve seen a big cat in Fife, East Scotland, on three separate occasions. Twice in woodland just outside a town called Markinch and another occasion a few miles North in woods near a very small village called Burnturk.

I have said they are about ,I've hiked all over the brecon beacons,found lots of dead sheep in various places,and I do find In open areas of mountain you can get very close to them,but the sheep near woodland are very skittish and run away from you from a greater distance.

I have to agree 👍🏻. I was in Wales twice this year and found eaten sheep on the beacons close to pen y fan. I'm back up there in October for a trip on the hills 2 days so fingers crossed 🤞. Thanks for your input 👍🏻

I was driving a truck very slow (about 3 mph) on a narrow track through a woodland going delivering to a rural farm , the track was so narrow the branches were rubbing against the cab on both sides. as i rounded a bend i saw what i thought was a black Labrador messing about under the bushes about 30 feet in front of me . i decided to wait and see if the dog walker was around so as not to trap them ( as i said the track was very narrow). when i pulled the hand brake on the truck gave the loud air hiss and that made the dog look up. thats when i saw it wasn't a dog at all , i first noticed the long tail which made me look closer , it was then i realised it was a large cat , it crouched down and tried to jump over the bushes which it failed to do the first time but cleared the 8 foot hedge on the second attempt. i got out of the truck to see if i could see it again but i never did . this cat lept over an 8 foot hedge ! it was not a dog . and as far as messing around under the hedges it made me think they must be eating rats and rabbits thats why there is not much evidence of them eating. anyway i saw one , they are here . when i finally got to the farm i told the farmer about it and he said yes , we call it the ratter

Thank you for your message. It's interesting to see what people's thoughts are and totally free to. Only issue is the bottom picture is of a roebuck 100% concreate. The top picture is a black figure that's been 99% measured out 4ft long and 19.5 inch high floor to shoulder. Pretty big in my experience of native wildlife. I've even blended a fade over picture at the end with me in the picture life size and it comes up by my knees. I really appreciate your theory but I just can't put it down to it. Wild boar 🐗?? Possibly but it just looks the wrong shape. Any how thanks for watching all comments bring everyone together 🌳 🪵 🪓 🔥

You would think that how come none has been found dead or hit by car if they have been around for years
@welcome2thewoodsuk6 ай бұрын
I am told there are from time to time. How none are put on social media I don't know. For example I was coming home a good 4 years ago early hours from a week away in the Highlands (Invergordon) To be exact. I had my wife in the front kids sound asleep in the back. It was obviously pitch black on damp October early hours rush to beat the traffic back to kent. We rounded a bend on a mountain road when the headlights lit up a big sandy brown cat dead on the road. I'm talking size of a medium dog but the paws was huge. It was on its side paws facing us and I didn't get a close look at the head but it had a doc tail or missing, as I had the rear closest on veiw. Any way in a nut shell, I slowed down and went passed it and vertualy stopped the car. Just about to pull the hand break and unbuckle my self my wife went mental her exact words I won't type out but it went like (you are not getting out of this ***** car you can p off leaving us in hear that might not be dead or a logging lorry could whipe us out) Any way I only argued for a second before realising she was right about those big lorrys. The sides of the road was huge pine forests with steep rock faces, we would of been whiped out like on a bowling ally. Needless to say it remains a story now as there is only us to remember it. One of the reasons I was so interested after I found out the many sightings local and nation wide. Sorry its a long one but it might answer that from my very own eyes. What happens to the body's I don't know I'm not going all men in black collect them I feel that's abit ridiculous. Hopefully we find one dead on the road I'll put it in the van lol.

Thanks for your message. All input is welcome and it's interesting how everyone else sees it. The picture is entirely up to your opinion and I'm greatful. The prints are certainly not a mould I took them myself in the field if you watch the full documentary. Also have audio of something screaming second part of a overnighter on the film, first bit is I belive a fox then a cat screams back. Take a look, I'm not saying everyone else has to belive it but it was enough for me actually going through it real time. Thanks for your message again though its great to get people's opinion.
