Recently got back into FU to finally take care of those pesky fatalis that take way too many quests to unlock/kill solo and decided to check on the definitive FU channel here on youtube. Happy to see you're still at it, and please keep going, you're almost done covering the whole game! I was like man I want to play Monster hunter (I have world ice borne) and then I was on KZbin to get some tunes going while I was gonna attempt to fight black diablos I see that the algorithm shows me content from the very first monster hunter title that got me into videogames in general, and now Im happy to see that someone does content from it, thank you, you are a great hunter

What I hated about this game is how unfair the difficulty of endgame monsters become. Despite having endgame equipment (Z series/ Ukanlos), endgame weapons (1400+ damage weapons), max sharpness, power and armour seeds, affinity, elemental damages and constant hitting of the monsters’ weak spots, they take like fucking 10000 hits to die, all whilst their single hits will deplete 1/3 - 1/2 of your health in one go

Yeaah, the scaling felt like it could've been done with more finesse honestly. A lot of strategies and methods, especially ones that worked well enough before G-Rank, just don't work or feel good at all, I know some people may like that, and I do like the *idea* of a game trying to get you to try new things, but it really feels more like "Do this or have a terrible time" rather than trying to encourage the player to experiment. I guess the most I can do is try and find ways that work for me, an average player, to help out those who are in similar places. I know veterans would disagree, but I never made videos for them in the first place haha

We have almost the same playstyle with hammers, it's nuts. I tend to build into tigrex X with sharpener jewels and protection but that's the only difference

The farm, and other bug collection places. If you use the hammer, don't use the gold one, there's no flash bugs for that hammer.
