Now that he can say that he tried in good faith, he can use it as leverage to ask for a new stadium. These guys know what they are doing. This is the first seed planted. Your move Charlotte. Tepper also knows Charlotte will not let the team leave so he has the upper hand in this play. If Charlotte wants to play hard ball then the business side of Tepper will show no loyalty to the city and then find another city who will pay for a new stadium. It's a simple business decision.

You're overlooking a whole damn lot of details. First off we don't want a roof, we don't want a dome, we love the location. The "public" money that's going to be used is solely from hotel taxes, that can *only* fund projects for BoA, The Convention Center, and amateur sports venues in the city. The concourses are what needs the upgrades, you can talk shit all you want about the seating but fact of the matter is there isn't a seat in there that doesn't have an amazing view. The people who are mad are just idiots who hear "public money/funding", don't bother to listen to where the money is coming from and just assume their taxes are going up.
