His upside is better than Mitchell, lad, franklin etc. Johnson and Thielin are out route runners, we needed a contested catch guy but he also can take it to the house. Hes a risk but its worth a shot.

Body and size-wise he matches AJ Brown, but take away a little bit of route running and replace it with catch radius. This man will make any throw a good throw with how he leaps up to get the ball. a lottery level talent in such a loaded class. He's going to make a difference. Mark my words.

I totally get why they drafted XL. But Cooper dejaun is #8 on PFF draft big board and was still available. The dude is a playmaker on the backend CB or safety.
