Great turkey price..also great pantry haul. Our Ace Hardware was canning lids. Make turkey enchiladas with leftovers.

You are right! I been stocking up on items for 10 years. It took me a while. Little by little my stockpile grew.I am a extreme couponer and grow my own vegetables.

Great buys on those pantry items! Especially that turkey! That’s how I like to stock my pantry, a little at a time!

I spent a little bit of time to be organized, but I used the Ibotta app and got $40.20 back on a $76 order. Free turkey(up to $15), stuffing, french fried onions, Mrs. Smith frozen pie etc. It was well worth the time I took to get it all organized. I buy my flour and sugar at Sam's Club, they have the best price around here. A couple of weeks ago, I scored big when they marked the solid butter with salt down. 4 1lb bricks for $4.91. I bought 4 sleeves and wish I had bought more!! I'm jealous of the 33 cent/lb turkey, the cheapest here is 87 cents/lb. Have a great week!

I did to! I didn't have the free turkey. The only way I can get one is I have to referrer a friend.

Yes, one item at a time 😀 I recently moved. In my former home I had converted half of my bedroom into a storage pantry where I just didn’t have the room. It seemed like I had tons packed away. Since moving into a much larger home with full walk-in basement, my shelves now seem so bare 😂 I’ve stocked away plenty more this weekend though! Thank you for the inspiration! 👏

Sugar was $1 per bag at Kroger a couple of months ago. Nobody was interested. Flour was on sale and still on sale, not as great as earlier, but buy 2, get one free. Butter is on sale at Kroger and Albertsons all the time. Land o Lakes butter just was on sale at Kroger, $2.49. This week, Kroger has own brand butter $1.77lb. I had a coupon $1.10/2, making $1.27 a pound, but I still bought land o Lakes last week because it's land o lakes. Albertson had canned veggies on sale, 49c ea. Green Giant is on sale second week in a row, 79c per can, and Del Monto veggies this week, same 79c per can. Walgreens had Green Giant veggies on sale, about 65c per can. Walmart and Aldi are not cheap stores when cost/quality is compared. And there is no such a thing as "normal" prices when it comes to stores. What counts is how high/low prices can go. Check sales ahead on stores websites, plan your shopping.

I watched Leisa’s price comparison collaboration yesterday. Now yours today. I mostly shop at Walmart here in AL. People fuss about the store but my protests and not buying there won’t hurt anyone but my family and our budget. We use their tissue along with the paper towels. Buy the strong and soft. An elderly gentleman encouraged me to try it many years ago and i was skeptical. Really only got it as to not hurt his feelings but it is great. We’ve used it every since. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.Thank you for another great video. It always amazes me how you guys have to explain yourself because of people and their rude comments. I got tickled at your saying you have peas for Heather. I thought of Seinfeld episode, “I don’t like peas, so NO PEAS FOR YOU” bahaha

You're absolutely correct about comparing prices!! Every week I look at all the sales ads (from newspaper and store websites). I take my note pad, make column for each store and note what is on sale I'm interested in. Yes it's time consuming, however the savings are well worth it, especially more now than ever. Also know your prices. This week there was an oddball sale on barilla pasta 4/5.00, with store app it was 1.00 off of that 4/4.00. It included lasagne noodles, which never go on sale here...regularly 2.89. Same store with app coupons, 5lb flour .49, store tom sauce 1.25, 13lb turkey for 6.00 instead of 13.00, store pasta sauce 1.25 each. All those items are extra pantry items, turkey is getting canned up today. I spent about 20.00. Way I look at it, that's approximately 16 meals ingredients I can make for 1.25 each for the 3 of us, that I didn't have.
