I have a set of pedals, a couple of humbucker pickups, a hand wired 1974 Marshall valve amp. Rig it up on a Veena instead of a Richie Kotzen Fender Telecaster you get a similar effort. Nothing taken away from Rajhesh’s virtuosity, please acknowledge there is so much electronic wizardry that goes on to enhance the Saraswati Veena. So sheeple, please don’t get drawn into your oohs and aahs!

Acknowledging the use of effects to enhance a performance has nothing to do with enjoying a piece. Whether it is Baiju Dharmajan or Rajesh Vaidhya, good music is good music. This is some weird gatekeeping. Let people enjoy Panthuvarali in peace with their oohs and aahs.

Nonsense. Without a certain level of playing - both technically and musically - no special effect or wiring can make the output worth listening.

Rajhesh is a virtuoso with or without the electronics. In ancient times, sacred music was played in temples that were acoustically engineered for reverb, delay and headroom that modern "electronic wizardry" emulates. Since I know a little more about European cathedrals, which were acoustically engineered with sound chutes, that in some cases added a 16 second delay, enabling choruses to sing into their own echo, creating a magnificent vast lush sound that Indian temples were similarly engineered. BTW, I also have a great, highly sophisticated 2 amp rig with a pedal board with effects processors split between them, a separate bass rig, cabinets with, 10', 12" and 15" speakers with a wide variety of guitars, bass' That I have customized in my shop as well as kalimbas, a santour, tounge drum, baglama saz, gongs, bells and I can say unequivocally, that Rajhesh is a great musician unplugged. BTW, your rig sounds great. I Have 3 telecaster type gutars, 2 Harley Bentons and 1-IYV all of which are hand wired because I wired them myself that pay and sound as good or better than the high end fenders.
