True probably. Just imagine though, if she just went around kicking the bad guy's butts all the time, I think the show would have been kind of boring that way. Steve Trevor was known for getting into perilous situations only having to be rescued by Wonder Woman. I always thought it would have been neat to see Steve return the favor once in a while when Lynda would get in a perilous situation or captured by the Nazis.

Did people in the '70s not see anything odd about a woman wearing pantyhose in a sauna? In real life it wouldn't have happened, but it''s as if TV producers thought we couldn't tell.

It never would have happened on the tennis courts, either. I played tennis in the 80s and trust me, no woman wore hosiery on court. Not only would it have looked weird, but you'd have been sliding around too much inside your tennis sneakers, with or without sweat socks. They did it all for vanity and the camera in that cheesy series.

Believe it or not, I think it was more for the network censors. Daisy Duke, Three's Company, you name it at that time scantily clad women wore hosiery and it was passed off as covered skin.

It was done because of network censors. They were nervous of showing too much "bare skin" back then. What I have always thought of as odd is, they wanted to not draw attention to their legs. In fact, it drew more attention to their legs because of the suntan pantyhose.

not that i mind her wearing hose all the time looking back but the sauna even ignoring you wouldn't on a tennis court, what was she or producers thinking. because how many takes did that take? i mean rarely do you do one shot for a take. so she's sitting in sauna how long and most women will tell you getting hose/nylons wet or sweaty isn't very comfortable though sweaty must be another issue lol. so she's ewaring her swimsuit she had on by the pool earlier (was she in hose then too when they show her jumping in?) under this tennis outfit strips that off to get in ssauna? i mean come on use a little bit of brain. and if she just changed into her swimsuit for the sauna why'd she leave the hose on? i mean first off it's pretty obvious (even with her great legs and tan) and it does nothign to hurt her looks but come one where'd the common sense go on this?
