You people are so superficial in your research on the KT, it broke down so often because of crews. Experienced crews could drive it without any breakdown. But there weren't that many of those when the KT came into scene
@deanmurphy73074 жыл бұрын
@@fabiana7157 A broken gearbox wasn’t an inexperienced crew problem, it was a soft gearbox problem.
@fabiana71574 жыл бұрын
@@deanmurphy7307 Okay, let's not forget that the KT came out in '44. The Germans did have issues with supplies and the production was rushed and the slave labourers sabotaged the building of the tank as well (when making the pieces). In the beginning, there were issues, but like they did with the Panthers, they managed to solve some of those issues over time. It's still true that inexperienced crews forced the tank too much, they didn't know how to handle such heavy vehicles correctly and they broke. Russians testing the KT said that it broke every 15 km. A report from a German Panzer division said that around 50 KT were able to go 200 km in one day without breaking down once. The difference? Experienced Tiger drivers. It wasn't a tank that could be handled by just about anyone.
