Oh boy, those bad boys you were calling sub chasers.... they aint no sub chasers. They're coastal bombards, sub chasers aren't too bad, bit tougher than PT boats, a little bigger too, but if you can attack them without getting caught in the crossfire of something bigger and scary (or swarmed by lots of little somethings) they go down pretty easy. I wouldn't want to fight a fleet of them, but you usually only get one or two accompanying some PT boats or supply ships. The coastal bombards on the other hand..... well.... I feel since it's a nautical theme the 10ft barge pole analogy is pretty apt.

Realistic boat crew : gets shredded by literally everything in 3 seconds. Get strafed and sunk by aircraft out of nowhere.
