Paolo is the heart and soul of this team! Way beyond being the best player, because he is also the positive reinforcement cheerleader of the team! He has something positive to say about every player on the team which makes all the payers love him and want to work together. They are feeding off each other's success. For a rookie to have this kind of impact is unheard of in the NBA!

I attended a Magic game the other night for the first time in years pretty close to the Magic bench. Bol was absolutely insane, Franz was lights out, Cole is a straight baller with no fear, & Paolo is certainly one of the most mature rookies I’ve ever seen. This Magic team should go far over the coming years as long as they stay together. Mo, Fultz, Suggs, Harris, Carter Jr, & Hampton are excellent role players they just need to learn how to maximize every night

Hello JJ Redick I have a question that can be a part of your conversations in your podcast. When a player is told about a particular player's scout report and if that player out perform those things , how do players who is guarding that guy, handle that in a run time game ? For ex - A 50 point performance in bubble by TJ Warren who was in pacers i guess . How is his guarding player is reacting to those situations since that player is having a break out game . If you ever mention this in your podcast , just shout-out my name, it will be an amazing moment for me . Love and support Agrim Anand INDIA

The fact that he thinks nba game is more 1v1 is where he’s developing bad habits of being on a bad team. All the good teams are not 1v1 at all. There’s lots of ball movements and play design to get people open.
@mynameisjt3605
@mynameisjt3605 Жыл бұрын
But i mean even jj didn't refute it, compared to college even movement on some teams isnt the same. It is comparitively more of a 1v1 game especially with starters when on alot of teams even with the advent of moving the ball everyone can be capable of scoring on their own. Whereas jj said u may only have 2 scorers on a college team so it would still be different. Itd be a lie to say sometimes u wont try to to do a move on your own its how u grow as a scorer.
@Popcannyo
@Popcannyo Жыл бұрын
I've heard him talk about this often as a magic fan. Hes referring more to the spacing in the NBA. In college the lane is packed and everyone is close together but in the NBA it's very spread out and it gives you the chance to take your guy 1 on 1
@francheromagic
@francheromagic Жыл бұрын
Franz said the same thing too comparing eurobasketball vs nba basketball in general in that euro has no particular star in teams like nba does but really just a purely team basketball. Magic actually is more balanced compared to other nba teams in this regard and their wins is mostly about 6 to 8 people having doubles and not about one star player having 40 or more (maybe cause they have developing stars still but also cause they've been sharing the ball once they got their PG back).
