I played thousands of games on Globetrotters growing up late 70s / early 80s. As Jim B said, G-L-O-B-E letters would scroll making them harder to complete. Figured out how to hit the letter I needed from the plunger. Pretty easy to roll this pin along with KISS, DOLLY, and others. Always preferred the BALLY machines from this era.

Novelty mode: Special scores 50k. Extra Ball score 25k. As this game is set, drop targets are lucrative, with a single target potentially worth 150k, including Globe value, special and the value of the increased multiplier. URI student union settings in 1979 were to scroll the GLOBE letters, but award super bonus at 20, 30, an 40k.
