I have an abusive father, but I care too much to just hate him, I hate him for all the bad things he's done to me and my family, but he's my father, a human, and I want to understand him and want to help him. However, when I did save him, he just pushed back and hurt me so much more than he will understand. Now I'm depressed trying to forget about him and all the pain and scars (I mean literally, I have a scar on my face from him) he has left. I tried to help him but all it did was make everything worse and no matter what I'm still forced into his hands by the court system. Now I'm in imaginable pain with working mental illnesses because of him. Trying to move on without hm is now impossible, I'm stuck in unless torture of caring for him just to make sure I don't kill myself from the inside out, hut caring for him just hurts me more and more, it allows him to just beat me up without me fighting back. I find this song helping me in my situation with how much the lyrics match my situation.
