Interesting they kept the end card to this cartoon despite the TV title at the start.

@ChristopherSobieniak/Studio Toledo The circulating print of another Terry Bears cartoon, "Plumber's Helpers", has the original opening titles, but it has a TV end title. Even stranger, the music that plays over the end title of TV prints of Terrytoons has been dubbed over the opening titles. A brief bit of the original music can be heard at the end of the opening titles.

@@bobbybickert Would make restoring these a chore.

@ChristopherSobieniak/Studio Toledo Even worse, stuff was cut out of the bodies of the Terrytoons for TV prints, like the ending of the Heckle and Jeckle cartoon "Happy Landing". And I don't think that it was done for censorship. (Though I'm not positive.) It might have been done just to make room for a credit for Bill Weiss in the end titles.

Papa Bear was censored because he said darn it in detail.

1952 was a year when many people got television sets.(As far as I knew,we always had one because I was born in 1954 and remember seeing shows on the big set we used to have in the living room.)

Tom Morrison, who wrote this one, is the voice of the unseen "TV salesman".
