Join Hawaii’s Nature Artist Patrick Ching and explore the waters and islands of the northwest Hawaiian archipelago, now known as Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
Patrick spent extended periods of time on the remote atolls working with endangered monk seals, sea turtles, seabirds, sharks and other marine animals.
In this episode you’ll learn to draw the Mōlī or Laysan albatross. Then, Hōkū Award winning musician Kawika Kahiapo will perform the song “Papahānaumokuākea”. This song will make it easy to remember that long Hawaiian name.
Enjoy all this, and more, on this wet and wild episode of Painting in Paradise.
