Thats really important what Guru just said. "Mind will never behave. It will never transform into good mind". Many seekers try and silence the mind permantly, but it is folly. But in itself it cannot be done. Only when we know ourselves as we are, pure bliss and formless, without 2nd thought, we will easily discard and overlook thought as simply a wayward 2nd hand expression. Not who we are, but merely the waves of the manifest. One good glimpse of our true self, and mind is seen for what it is. A wave, and nothing to do with our true self. In that self knowledge, we easily transcend mind, and stay witin our own abode eternally. In peace and joy. Quitening the mind for moments at a time, is taking a shot at turning inwards, it is not a goal in itself to permantly silence the mind, it will only be transcended with the knowledge of the true self.
