I struggle with recording myself, I find the camera and setup get in the way of what I actually want to do. Then I have to edit the videos.

Great work. Aren't you supposed to use a blunt tipped knife on your left? I feel like this would damage the parchment. Beautiful work anyway.

extant medieval depictions show a sharp pointed knife, the blunt tipped knives show up much later. If you use a blunt tipped knife you have to have a separate knife to cut the tip of the quill and erase well.
