It must be stated that a pontiff must be a valid one. Second, infallibility only covers a true pope when he is teaching on faith and morals. He must also be addressing the entire Church from the Chair of Peter. “One Shepard one flock,”is how Christ told His apostles. The Orthodox are in Schism but the Vatican is in apostasy. We are stuck between the Devil and the deep blue sea for now. Traditional Catholicism is our best bet.
