I couldn't finish the video, because I'm expecting second hand embarrassment from Cotton, but why does Numi need permission from her dad? Isn't she old enough and has a stable income to prove she is an adult who can make her own decisions? Am I missing something, is she that much of a daddy's girl, or did she just want to throw Cotton under the bus?

They're very close, but it's a joke. And underlying the joke, Numi doesn't want to drink, so she sets up the joke instead of giving a hard no, because she's not the sort of person to go "really, I shouldn't" when she can keep the mood light

1) she didn't really want to drink, so instead of flat-out refusing Cotton, she pulled up the old "I'm gonna ask my parents" joke, i can bet five bucks she went to her dad and was like "Hey dad, come to my room and tell me I shouldn't drink". This also plays on the fact that Papa Numi is a gigachad and Cotton has quite the daddy kink, while the two girls have an ongoing NNN bet 2) As to why she decided to ask dad, she is kind of a daddy's girl, she has often stated she loves her parents very much and is very close to them

@@Erideah I know, but Numi sometimes confuses me. Especially since I don't think saying no is a problem for the mood to begin with. So, she just throws Cotton under the bus, got it. Thanks.
