Paper 2 done! for elizabethan england, it was education for the first q, reasons for the defeat of the spanish armada for the second q and either rayleigh's colony or elizabeth facing challenges from english catholics to her religious settlement. Cold war was on prague spring for the first q, narrative of the collapse of soviet control in eastern europe, and salt1, krushchev ultimatum which i chose. overall it was good and ur predictions were almost spot on!

I do edexcel and for Early Elizabeth I had a 4 marker on 2 features of the education , then it was about the armada and how it failed or something. The last question one was about Virginia i think and the other one was on something about the religious settlement and Elizabeth being challenged by catholics. For American West the first question was on the extermination of the buffalo and then there was a narrative account on the donner party , the last 3 questions one was on the railroads cattle industry something then a sand creek massacre and the last one was on law and order

EE and Aw went amazing yesterday! We were very lucky to have The Donnor party narrative account- honestly could not have been happier with that (i dont think I would have known what to do otherwise!) and a 12 mark question on the defeat of the Armada. Others included consequences of the extermination of the buffalo, sandcreek massacre for relations with the plains indians, importance of the railroad for cattle industry, then EE was features of education and a choose between failure of Virginia which I did and catholics where the biggest threat to the religious settlemnt. Couldnt have done it without these videos!

@@mrclokehistory I can help you with the warfare one 4 marker was explain 2 features of London being a target for the blitz. There was a 12 marker on explain why the attitude of war changed from 1900 to present saying you may use conscientious objectors and the press. 16 marker it was either how far do you agree with the statement that the advancements of weapons were the most important factor of warfare in 1250-1500 and there was another one I forgot aswell also 4 marker on difference between warfare in the Iraq war 2003 and the battle of Waterloo. Source question was describe usefulness of each source describing the difficulty of the effect of German bombings in London source A was fire fighters hosing down a burning ware house and captioned it was stored by the London fire brigade to show their work done during blitz. In Source B It was someone helping because he was small enough to squeeze through rubble and pull victims out, he was helping the services with a V2 attack on a road that caused the houses to turn into rubble captioned that it happened in 1945 and that it was a diary that a 15 year old stored. No, it refers to the increased status of the gentry as a class. I.e. not the nobility with titles at court, but a wealthy class of landed people below this.
