Hi Julie. Greetings from South Carolina! I’ve just found your channel and I’m so glad I did. You make me laugh and, as they say, laughter is the best medicine! Love this bag journal and I plan to find some bags and make one. I’ve lived in the south, in one state or another, almost all of my 70 years. Most southern ladies I know would die before they’d cause a spectacle in public! I love the expression “y’all”. It’s just a pleasant way to say the plural of “you” in a casual or familiar way. I taught Spanish for years. In Spanish there is a plural, familiar way to say you as there is in most Romance languages. I don’t think my British friends would ever say “y’all”! I think they’d choke if they tried to! I can’t wait to see more of your videos! I look forward to seeing part 2 of this one. Thanks, Julie.

What a cute journal! Love it.Answering your question about a Bride choosing her dress.. I am from New Hampshire USA.. my granddaughter Sam is getting married in September, I and 5 other ladies went with Sam to help her choose the dress.. she tried on 4.. which we all loved, she looked beautiful in all of them.. but the last dress.. we were all breathless.. none of us said a word.. until she said.. I love it! This is the one! Not one of us disagreed.. because Sam was right.. She looked absolutely stunning! And it was her choice.. She will look like a princess!

I love watching you❤️. I’m a Tennessee girl but live in Florida now. I will always be a country girl. Usually I get asked where I’m from because the way I talk. I just consider I’m special 😂🤣. I’m the real deal. I love hearing everyone trying to talk country, its so funny. Especially my husband who grew up in Michigan. He still laughs at me. That’s ok. You were talking about wedding dresses… some moms and grandmas are really like that. I made my own so I made the decision.😃 my mom wasn’t like that. Love the journal you made. I completely understand about needing LOTS of table space. When I was in the working world I would constantly say, "I need a bigger desk!" When I craft, I spread out in every direction - there's no containing me! 🤭 I have a new (to me) desk as of a week ago that is 10" longer than the old one. I feel slightly adrift! But I"m sure I'll quickly get used to it, ha-ha! I appreciated hearing your wise reminder that many of our jj ideas have likely been thought of before by someone else, yet we are all here to inspire and encourage one another. My mother was from Tennessee and she was always in charge and very independent. Nice as pie until she was in a snit. I have recently started watching videos on Junk Journals and have feel in love with this craft. The possibilities are close to endless with what you can do with paper. I found Pam at the Paper Outpost first and then stumbled onto your site thankfully. I am from the US and hopefully can say without offending you, that I love your accent. You can say y'all whenever you want to say it. We say it all the time. Lol and we think nothing of it. 😂😉 No Julie, we raise strong, independent women here in the South so we don't need to tell our daughters our opinions unless they ask us Moms and Grandmas. I have one daughter and a step-daughter and they are both VERY independent. Lol, so i only give my opinion if I'm asked. I agree with another comment on here that it is just a show not real life even though the tv execs call it a reality show. It's not really but it is funny and entertaining. I am Georgia born and raised. 😉

I have been asking my friends for small amounts of craft coloured stuff they don't need for my journal adventures. One of the cheeky ladies gave me 100 paper bags, just like your using in this video. Guess who's getting a Christmas themed paper bag journal for Christmas .!.! That will use up a couple of them plus another for the envelopes I now also know how to make. This is one of my very favorite projects that you have done. It didn't require any fancy dancy scrapbook paper, or hard to find supplies. I live in a rather remote little town in Alaska, and have to find my papers and supplies on ebay or etsy...which gets expensive! Thank you for your videos, and for occasionally crafting with very basic supplies. It's appreciated!

You always design lovely crafts, and it is delightful watching and listening to you. I live in Texas, but had an English mum, so my words are bit of both worlds. Your comments about using southern words made me smile…you can use them anytime…you sound just fine. I wonder sometimes if these reality show families act out merely for entertainment purposes…leaving a negative impression with the world about the rest of us. When my daughter got married she picked out her dress. And that was that. Can't remember who I was watching, but she said she got the idea from your channel, so I jumped on over, and have been binge watching your 6x6 and 12x12 sheets of paper videos ever since, lol. I had to pipe in cos I am from Oklahoma which is kind of south but a lil bit different from the little I know about Atlanta culture. No one I know around here wastes their time sticking their noses into any bride's wedding planning business, judging her dress choices or anything like that. Theyre just happy for her. I don;t think anyone apart from the bride should choose the dress, sack or tracksuit she intends to walk down the aisle in😘 I have a lovely friend who lives in Oklahoma and hope to get over there one day.
