Having been a scrapbooker/paper crafter for many years, I'm loving the my new obsession into journalling and junk journalling means I can use anything I have on hand! Love this paper bag tag journal base!! Thank you Bel PS and I can get distracted from my other projects to try this 😆

Great tutorial Bell. I usually use card stock to make my tag books but you inspired me to use paper bags. I have sooo many brown bags and packing craft paper and the paper centers of Christmas wrapping rolls. I used fabric for my joins in the tag book I made last week. I now want to do another using paper. I really like the interest it adds to the tags. You do inspire.

Thank you so much. I think many of us have a large collection of paper bags. I know every time I receive one I save it, along with things like junk mail envelopes, so I could probably make 30 more of these journals 😂 I do like using fabric as hinges but I just have so many paper scraps that I am trying to focus on using them up in as many projects as possible. I also think its easier to glue and work on paper whereas fabric works better on a finished piece. 😊

I used paper packaging from amazon and glued similar to what you did, but in one long strip. then folded it into size. I like the way yours looks as it lays straighter, mine is a bit wonky but still works

I think your idea works well to. I did tags just because it was easier for me to work out what I needed and if I had tried the folding method I would probably have had to refold many many times and then have still gotten wrong 😂
