I just watch a 15 minute video on how to make a keycap puller I don't even have a mechanic keyboard
@deviantntskink7244 Жыл бұрын
The thing, even more sad than that is you watched a 15 minute video that could’ve been compacted into a two minute tutorial

My keyboard is not mechanical but the key caps are removable. Also, Its spill resistant which is great

Your a lifesaver this worked so much better than prying of my old office keycaps with a pair of scissors and a screwdriver! (Well that was to be expected XD) THIS IS AMAZINGG

1'st one did with my hands- works a bit wierd and is round in shape 2'nd one did with my hands and a brain- works as any other keycap puller Thx Tim!

i think it's perfect and if you see a review on this model of a Keycap puller, it really won't damadge the keyboard nor the keys.
@owliewastaken24732 жыл бұрын
thanks man I had to get a keyboard and milky yellow switches but if i got a keycap puller it wouldnt fit the budget thank you so much!
@andieg86153 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I made one from some smaller paperclip and they work. This will save my finger tips from swelling when I remove the keycaps by hand haha. A little word of caution. If you use wrapped paperclips, remove the wrapping! Only paperclips available in our area were all wrapped. It made the paperclip too thick to fit between the key caps.. I stripped the rubber like wrapping about 1cm from the bottom. I used a nail clipper since it was easier to fit.
@Jokypond3 жыл бұрын
yeah same, i removed the wrapping from mine using scissors like a knife

sorry i’m a year late, but you can pull your spacebar, i’ve always pulled my spacebar a one side at a time because i hate stretching my pullers to begin with. just pull one side up, then the other afterwards, usually it entirely disconnects with one pull of one side but in the case it doesn’t, you just pull the side that didn’t come up afterwards
@timburr98713 жыл бұрын
You have to either do it your way or make two pullers

I'm trying to expand on this to create a version capable of removing a spacebar. Maybe 4 "legs", one for each corner? Or wider ones to completely go over each small edge?
