Tip no 1: It is much easier than it looks Tip no 2: You can chose to make more slender or pointy fingers for a more expressionistic or fantasy result Tip no 3: you can paint it over (I painted one of them white, the other I couldn't chose color...) And a note: if you make rings or bracelets you can use it as a prop to show them. Enjoy!

@@DavidTanisDreams It is definitely more than 1.00 mm. That means either 1,20 or even more. It is cheap galvanized wire with no packaging information, bought from a hardware store.

I might add this to one of my mannequins. Usually I don't add hands to my mannequins so I can add gloves easier but the fingers seen more spread out here conpared to when I make a copy of my hand so it might actually be able to use this. Thanks!

I hesitated to color them because it might show all the imperfections. If I had to chose though, I would prefer a dark color, it hides some of the imperfections.

Just common galvanized wire from the hardware store, not steel or anything fancy. It's good for all sorts of work, cheap and it retains the shape.

If I remember correctly, about 3 mornings. One morning for the armature and very rough features, another for the paper mache layers and a third morning for the details. As you see I didn't paint them really because it would have taken even more time.
